(WTNH) -- Former UConn Star Swin Cash is now an author. She has a new book out called a "Humble Journey, more precious than gold."
The book is a snap shot of her life between 2008 and 2012.
It starts with her not making the 2008 olympic team and the journey to make it back in 2012.
Of course fans in this state remember her most for her part in UConn's two national championship teams back in 2000 and 2002.
Cash says those UConn years were so good that she may write about that next.
"We came in as some niave athletic, crazy talented freshman that thought we were gonna win four championships in a row. We were so like driven, we were determined and we wanted to have success and we have people who have competitive nature like that. It just starts to cultivate this whole environment that was very special at UConn.
The full interview with Swin Cash done by Erik Dobratz will be posted on sportzedge.com which will be coming soon.
