Security official amends complaint against coach

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A security official has amended her employee discrimination complaint against Olympic women's basketball coach Geno Auriemma and USA Basketball.

Kelly Hardwick had filed the lawsuit in New York in June, alleging that she was being kept off the security detail at the London Olympics after spurning sexual advances from Auriemma on a trip to Russia in 2009. Auriemma has denied the allegations.

Auriemma's attorney sought to dismiss the complaint after Hardwick was assigned to the USA basketball teams and worked at the Olympics.

But in an amended complaint filed Wednesday, Hardwick alleges she was subjected to a hostile work environment in London. She says she was denied proper credentials and that Auriemma yelled at her during a practice.

Brian Bank, Auriemma's attorney, declined to comment Thursday.
