UConn coach to help with national team

STORRS, Conn. (AP) — A University of Connecticut assistant hockey coach has been tapped to help work with goalies at a camp for prospective members of the national team.

David Berard will coach at the Warren Strelow National Team Goaltending Camp, which features the top goaltenders eligible for international play in select age groups.

The camp runs through Monday in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Berard just finished his first season on the UConn bench under head coach Bruce Marshall.
