STORRS, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut's Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis has been named the Big East's freshman of the week for a seventh time this season.
The 6-foot forward from Anaheim, Calif., averaged 14 points and four rebounds in wins over No. 20 Louisville and No. 14 Georgetown.
Mosqueda-Lewis hit 10 of 16 shots against Georgetown on Saturday and scored 23 points, her sixth 20-point effort of the season.
She also was the conference's pre-season freshman of the year.
