TRUMBULL, Conn. (CTPost.com) -- A Bridgeport man was killed and four other people injured after an early-morning three-car crash on Route 8, state police said on Tuesday.

Jovan Rodriguez, 28, died from injuries sustained in the crash, which occurred around 12:30 a.m. near exit 11, state police said.

Police said that Rodriguez was riding in the back seat of one of the cars, a 2000 Honda UEX. It is not clear whether he was wearing a seat belt.
