Accident causes major delays on I-84

DANBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- An accident involving a flipped-over truck caused major delays on I-84 near exit 5.

A witness told News 8 that the entire westbound side of I-84 was shut down for a time in the vicinity of exit 5.

The accident happened earlier Saturday afternoon and numerous reports came in of heavy traffic delays.

There were no additional details on the accident.
