Biker in hospital after accident

MIDDLEFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A biker was injured after being hit by a car Saturday morning.

Police reported that a car was backing out of a parking space when the vehicle hit a pedestrian riding a bicycle.

The biker was transported via LifeStar to Hartford Hospital, but it appears the injuries are non-life threatening.
