WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- Emergency personnel responded after a car crashed into a Waterbury home Friday night.
The accident occurred around 7:30 p.m., at 134 Hill St.
According to the Waterbury Fire Department, a car struck the front of the three-family home, damaging the wall. The fire department's collapse unit installed 2X4 and heavy timber on the wall to prevent any further collapse.
The car was removed from the home and the scene was turned over the the homeowner. Officials said the homeowner's insurance will take care of the damage.
The driver of the car sustained unknown injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
The occupants of the home weren't injured.
Officials said the home is habitable.
