Car heavily damaged in I-95 crash

STAMFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A car crash on I-95 northbound in Stamford caused extensive delays Tuesday morning.

The crash happened between exits 7-8 around 5:20 a.m. At one point traffic was backed up to Greenwich.

We don't know if the driver was hurt, if anyone else was in the car, or what led to the crash.
