Car slams into Shelton house

SHELTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- A 21-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after her car hit a home in Shelton.
Police were called to the house on Trolley Bridge Road around 7:45 a.m. Thursday morning.
The driver was not identified. She was taken to the hospital for evaluation, but police say her injuries appear to be minor.
A portion of the street was closed while officials were on the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
Police are investigating the incident and no charges have been filed at this time.
