Car slams into Torrington supermarket

TORRINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- A car slammed into an Aldi Supermarket in Torrington.

At 11:42 a.m. on Wednesday a car drove into the building on North Elm Street.

Torrington police say that the fire department has responded to the scene.

The extent of the damage is not known at this time.
