Old Lyme, Conn. (WTNH) - Police in Old Lyme are investigating an accident where a child riding a bike was seriously injured.

The male child was hurt on Breen Avenue just after 4:30 Sunday afternoon. A LifeStar helicopter flew the child to Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford for head trauma.

There are no specific details on the child, his condition, or the cause of the accident. Police are still investigating.
