Crash closes lanes of I-84 in Cheshire

CHESHIRE, Conn. (WTNH) -- Traffic is moving again on I-84 eastbound in Cheshire after a multi-vehicle crash closed all lanes this morning.

The crash happened between Exits 26-27 near the interchange with I-691.

It's unclear exactly how many vehicles are involved or if anyone has been injured, but it involved cars and at least one tractor trailer.

There was also a fuel spill which had to be cleaned up before traffic could get moving again.

The DOT did not give an estimate on when the crash scene would be cleared.
