Down trees close Route 15, 35

ORANGE, Conn. (WTNH) -- Route 15 heading north in Orange was briefly closed after a tree fell in the road.

The road was closed between exits 57 and 58. It was reopened a little after 8 a.m.

Route 35 in Ridgefield was also closed Friday morning due to down trees and wires. The road is closed in both directions near West Lane.

The damage is the result of a severe storm that swept through the state Thursday night.
