NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) -- Route 7 southbound near I-95 has reopened after a collision caused an overhead sign to collapse onto the roadway.

Apparently a dump truck slammed into the sign, ultimately causing the entire structure to crash down onto the roadway.

Connecticut DOT reported the incident shortly after 1:30 p.m.

There were no serious injuries reported, but police could not confirm if there were any injuries at all.
