PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A man was taken to the hospital after a one-car accident in Plainfield Saturday morning.
The accident occurred around 2 a.m., in the area of Green Hollow Rd.
Police said Christopher M. Gnatowski, of 5 Mortimer Rd., Moosup, was driving a 2007 Mazda 6 northbound on Green Hollow Rd. when he lost control of the vehicle. Gnatowski traveled off the road into the woods and struck a large rock, which projected his vehicle back into the road and onto the roof.
Gnatowski was up walking around when police arrived, but was taken to Day Kimball Hospital for treatment of possible injuries.
Police said speed and weather were believed to play factors in the accident.
The accident remains under investigation.
