Man hospitalized after Milford car crash

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A middle-aged man was taken to the hospital after an accident in Milford Friday morning.
The accident just after 9:30 a.m., on the Milford connector, heading towards I-95.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel found a 53-year-old unresponsive male that needed to be extricated from the heavily damaged vehicle.
Fire Department medics started life support treatment inside the vehicle as crews removed the drivers side door and dash away from the man.
The man was then safely moved to a back board and transferred to Bridgeport Hospital.
The extent of the man's injuries are unknown at this time.
