Motorcyclist flown to hospital after crash

BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) -- A motorcyclist was flown to the hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash in Bristol.

The accident occurred just before 6 p.m., on School St.

Police said preliminary investigation revealed that the motorcycle and another vehicle were both traveling east on School St., and collided when the vehicle took a left turn into a private driveway.

When emergency personnel arrived on the scene they found the 28-year-old motorcycle operator suffering from serious injuries. The man was flown via Life Star to Hartford Hospital.

The other driver, a 30-year-old female, suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Bristol Hospital.
