Motorcyclist swerves to avoid 1 vehicle, hits another

GROTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- A motorcyclist suffered a broken leg after a crash on Route 184 Monday afternoon.

Police said the motorcyclist swerved to avoid a vehicle that suddenly pulled out in front of them.

The rider then dumped the motorcycle after losing control and struck another vehicle. The rider broke their leg, but suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Todd Caswell, the driver who pulled in front of the motorcycle was arrested for driving with a suspended license and failure to give the right-of-way.
