NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- One person was killed and a second remains on life support this morning after a serious crash on I-91 in North Haven.
The driver, 24-year old David Cooley of North Haven, was killed. His passenger, Paige Camera, 24, also from North Haven, was seriously injured.
The crash happened around 10:00 p.m. Sunday on the southbound side of the highway at Exit 10. Cooley's car went off the road and slammed into a tree.
The jaws of life were brought in to free them from the wreckage. Police say the two people were not wearing seat belts.
