One killed in Bloomfield crash

BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) -- One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Bloomfield on July 4th.

Around 8 p.m. Wednesday night police received multiple reports of a car crashing into a tree on Route 189.

All four occupants were taken to area hospitals for medical treatment.

Passenger Torin Brown, 37, of 51 Clark Road, Bolton, was killed in the crash.

The driver, 22-year-old Duval Henry, of 6 Addison St., Bloomfield, was taken to St. Francis Hospital. Henry sustained critical injuries.

The two other passengers, 22-year-old Andre Faulkner, of 134 Woodland Dr., Hartford, and 29-year-old Jave Gary, of 144 Burham St., Hartford, were both treated at Hartford Hospital and released.

The accident is under investigation.
