One killed in Milford crash

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- An Ansonia woman died after a late night crash in Milford Tuesday night.

The accident happened around 11:40 p.m. on Orange Ave., near Pullman Dr.

After investigating, it was determined that a vehicle traveling north on Orange Ave. left the road and hit a utility pole

The driver of the vehicle, 44-year-old Marlene Williams, of Ansonia, was treated for life threatening injuries and transported to a local hospital.

Around 1:15 Wednesday morning, Williams succumbed to her injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
