Pedestrian injured following car crash

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A pedestrian was injured after they were too close to a collision between a Chevy and another car in West Hartford.

Firefighters arrived on the scene of the crash at the intersection of South Quaker Lane and St. James Street in West Hartford at 11:25 p.m.

After the crash, a Black Chevy Sonic had rolled over on its side, coming to a stop on the nearby sidewalk. The driver was injured and trapped inside.

Firefighters say it took them 14 minutes to stabilize and removed the driver from the car.

The driver, who was not identified, was taken to the hospital along with the driver of the other car, as well as a pedestrian who was hurt.

West Hartford police are investigating the crash.
