WESTPORT, Conn. (WTNH) -- Several people were injured after a school bus and a car crashed in Westport.
The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. in the area of 60 Roseville Road.
Police say a 2004 BMV SUV sustained heavy damage to its front end in the crash. The driver was transported to Norwalk Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The bus driver and the bus monitor were treated at the scene and also taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
The school bus, which is owned by People to Places, was carrying two students to a Trumbull summer program. The students, ages 9 and 13, were evaluated by EMS and released to their parents at the scene.
The accident is under investigation
