WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Wallingford police were investigating a reported school bus crash Wednesday morning.
The crash happened around 7:15 a.m. on Harrison Road.
According to Linda Winters, the business manager of Wallingford Public Schools, 13 students were on the bus headed to Holy Trinity School, at the time of the accident.
All students were released, two suffered minor injuries.
Winters said that a Nissan pickup truck coming from Harrison Rd. lost control of the vehicle due to icy conditions, hit a telephone pole, and then ricocheted into traffic causing the pickup to swerve into the bus.
The driver of the Nissan was taken to Mid-State Hospital. The driver of the bus was not injured in the crash.
