WOODBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- Seven people were hospitalized following a crash in Woodbury Saturday morning, police said.
Police say that a car was traveling south on Flanders Road, just north of Elephant Rock Road, when it lost control around a corner.
The vehicle struck an embankment and then veered into the northbound lane of traffic. It was at that point that this car struck an oncoming car head-on.
The crash sent seven people to area hospitals for an array of broken bones, lacerations and abrasions. None of the injuries were life-threatening.
Woodbury Ambulance, AMR Ambulance, Roxbury Ambulance, Bethlehem Ambulance, Woodbury Fire and Woodbury Public Works all arrived on scene to assist with the incident.
The accident remains under investigation.
