Three injured in three car crash

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- Waterbury firefighters were called to assist with a three car crash on Watertown Avenue Tuesday morning.

The crash happened at 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of Watertown Avenue and Windsor Street.

Police say First Student Minivan collided with two pick-up trucks. The minivan did not have any children inside.

All three drivers were sent to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Traffic was backed up for a time, but the road is now clear.
