Trailer hits I-95 overpass in Milford

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Traffic on I-95 Southbound in Milford was delayed for miles after a trailer hit an overpass in Milford.

The accident happened a little after 7:00 a.m. between exits 39a and 38, and closed two lanes.

Report It pictures show the trailer hit an overpass. The cab of the big rig was spotted along the side of the road a short distance later.

It's unclear right now exactly what happened.
