Truck fire closes Main Street

EAST HAMPTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- Main Street in East Hampton is closed after a dump truck sparked fire.

Officials say the fire was started after the truck lifted it's bed and hit the wires.

The fire spread to the nearby Board of Education building.

The wires were torn in the incident. CL&P officials are on the scene replacing the busted wires.

No word yet if anyone has been injured.
