Truck hits pole, knocks out power

PROSPECT, Conn. (WTNH) -- A truck crashed into a telephone pole early Sunday morning in Prospect, police say.

The incident happened around 4 a.m. on Cook Road. The impact knocked out power to nearly 500 residents in the town at one point.

Power has since been returned to most customers.

There is no word on the cause of the crash or any injuries.
