NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A plan to shift lanes on the southbound lanes of the Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge was pushed back, but the traffic shift will begin Saturday night, the Connecticut Department of Transportation said.
The existing southbound lanes will be moved to what used to be the northbound lanes on the old bridge.
The work was supposed to start Friday night, but will now occur Saturday night, beginning at 10 p.m. and continuing until noon Sunday.
"Motorists can expect significant delays" ConnDOT said.
Traffic on the new bridge is not affected by this.
