Truck loses load onto I-84

    A truck carrying building materials lost its load across the east bound lanes of I-84 in Danbury, making a mess of the highway for hours.

    The truck overturned in the vicinity of Exit 3 some time after 1:00 p.m. The materials has been described at different times as either lumber, vinyl siding or synthetic lumber.

    State police told News Channel 8 there is lumber all over the highway.

    There was no word on whether the driver was hurt.

    It was expected to take up to several hours to clear the debris off the highway.
