Overturned truck closes I-84 at Exit 70

Willington (WTNH) - Westbound traffic on I-84 came to an early morning halt after a tandem tractor-trailer crashed, the Department of Transportation said.

The crash happened a little before 4:00 a.m. near Exit 70.

The second trailer of a tandem FedEx truck became disengaged and flipped over, state police at Troop C said.

We don't know whether the driver was hurt.

The DOT reopened the highway around 6:30 a.m.
