Westbrook, Conn. (WTNH) - Governor Dannel Malloy will join the Department of Transportation in Westbrook to break ground on a brand new railroad station.
The Shore Line East station will have platforms on each side linked by a pedestrian overpass, similar to the Guilford station.
Some work has already started. When it's done the new station will have elevators, a place to sit, windscreens and a visual messaging system.
The ground breaking ceremony starts at 11 a.m.
