Dr. Mel looks back on his career

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) - News 8's Dr. Mel looks back on the most memorable moments of his career.

From Hurricane Gloria in 1985 to last years wild winter, Dr. Mel remembers the excitement involved in reporting the weather.

Dr. Mel remembers News 8's Mark Davis anchoring in 1985 and tossing to him when Hurricane Gloria came over Connecticut. Even the station lost power.

Dr. Mel says he will miss Connecticut because it is fascinating, but he will be close by.
