Power outages still impacting thousands

(WTNH) -- Thousands of people remained without power Sunday morning.
  
CL&P reported more than 24,000 outages. That's about 1 percent of their customers.

The southeastern part of the state remains the hardest hit, including areas such as East Lyme.

Sunday morning United Illuminating reported just a couple dozen outages, after a high Friday night of about 1,700 outages.
