(WTNH) -- Periods of snow and strong winds are expected to continue across the state overnight as the Blizzard of 2013 rages on.
Blizzard Warnings remain in effect through 1 p.m. Saturday.
Storm Team 8 Meteorologists expect snow to gradually taper off during the morning hours on Saturday. The sunshine may even return by afternoon, but conditions will be slow to improve.
When all is said and done, much of the state can expect 20 to 30 inches of snow, with 12 to 20 inch amounts closer to the N.Y. border.
Stiff winds will continue to cause blowing and drifting snow right into the second half of Saturday.
