(WTNH) -- Metro-North and Shore Line East Train service will resume for Connecticut commuters on Thursday.
For Metro-North, there will be limited service running from the Stamford station. Parking could be difficult, the commissioner of the Department of Transportation said.

And The MTA says don't throw away the monthly or weekly ticket you haven't been able to use this week. The MTA says they'll be valid through Monday, Nov. 5.
New York subway service was also being restored, but on limited routes. Here's a map with more information (.pdf)
For SLE, the Department of Transportation said "Please be aware no connections will be available west of New Haven. Some slight delays may be possible."
As for Amtrak, they announced via Twitter "Amtrak will provide modified Northeast Regional service between Boston & New Haven, Conn. & between Newark, N.J. & points south on Nov 1."

Also resuming Thursday are shuttle service trains between Springfield and New Haven. Acela Express service will not be running however.
