MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- People in Milford are already heading down by the water to check on their homes.
"There was a big shed that was picked up by the flood waters and left right in the middle of Melba St. so everybody has to detour around that as they drive through," News 8's Kent Pierce said.
As the morning goes on, the search for a missing swimmer will also continue. A man went into the sound at about 8 p.m. last night off of Walnut beach and has not been seen since.
The Coast Guard will continue their search at first light Tuesday.
