BERLIN -- Trick-or-treating is on.

BRANFORD -- Trick-or-treating is postponed until Saturday, Nov. 10th due to Wednesday's impending storm.

BRIDGEPORT -- @CityofBptCT tweeted, "'We're recommending that if parents desire taking their kids trick-or-treating tonight that they do so before it gets dark,' @MayorBillFinch ."

CANTON -- @CantonCTInfo tweeted, "Please proceed with caution as you trick-or-treat tonight as there may be small amounts of brush in the roads and on people's property."

COLCHESTER -- Postponed to Nov. 7.

DERBY -- Not canceled. Decision is up to parents. (per Valleyindy.org )

DARIEN -- Trick-or-treating is on.

DURHAM -- Trick-or-treating is on. (per Durham Department of Emergency Management)

EAST HAVEN -- Postponed to Nov. 7

FAIRFIELD -- Postponed to Nov. 7

FARMINGTON -- Trick-or-treating is on.

GROTON -- Groton PD recommends parents take advantage of sponsored events instead of door to door trick-or-treating.

GUILFORD -- Trick-or-treating postponed. "A new date will be set once we can be assured that all roads are passable and the streets are safe for trick-or-treating." (per www.ci.guilford.ct.us )

HARTFORD -- Mayor Segarra says Trick-or-treating is on.

MANSFIELD -- Trick-or-treating is on.

MIDDLETOWN -- Trick-or-treating is on.

MILFORD -- Postponed to Nov. 7

NAUGATUCK -- Trick-or-treating is on and Fireman Parade is on.

NEW HAVEN -- Postponed to Nov. 7

NEW LONDON -- Not canceled but if people decide to go out, use caution. People should consider trick-or-treating on Nov. 7 like other towns have done.

NEWINGTON -- Halloween festivities and trick-or-treating will go on, but the city urges people to use caution in areas that still be without power.

NORTH BRANFORD -- Trick-or-treating is on. CT Sportsplex is having a Trunk-or-treat. Cars can start filling up the lot at 5:00 pm and the event will start at 6:30 pm. Bounce U is also having an all day open bounce for $11:00 per Bouncer. Costumes allowed, with no masks or accessories. 10:00 am-6:00 pm.

NORTH HAVEN -- First Selectman Fredo is postponing trick-or-treating until Nov. 7th. *Corrected

NORFOLK -- Norfolk EMD suggests trick-or-treating be held on Sat Nov. 3

NORWALK -- Mayor Richard Moccia is advising parents to make their decision about Halloween with safety in mind. Halloween parties are open to all at NEON at 98 South Main Street in South Norwalk from 5:30 until 8 and at the City Hall Community Room from 6 until 7:30.

ORANGE -- Postponed to Nov. 7

OXFORD -- Parents urged to postpone trick-or-treating. (per Valleyindy.org )

RIDGEFIELD -- Postponed to Nov. 7

SEYMOUR -- Not postponed, leaving decision up to parents. (per ValleyIndy.org ).

SHELTON -- Not postponed. Decision is up to parents. (per Valleyindy.org )

STRATFORD -- Postponed to Nov. 7.

TOLLAND -- Town Manager Steven Werbner said, "Halloween will be a parental decision."

TORRINGTON -- Mayor Ryan Bingham tweeted, "We also have no reason to discourage you from Trick-or- Treating tomorrow for Halloween. I've got to go buy some candy tonight."

ROCKY HILL -- "All roads and streets in Rocky Hill are clear and safe. Enjoy Halloween!" (per www.rockyhillct.gov ) 

WEST HAVEN -- Postponed to Nov. 7

WESTPORT -- @westportctgov : "Joseloff: Westport not canceling Halloween, urges parents to 'use your best judgment of where it might be safe.' Be home before dark."

WETHERSFIELD -- Trick-or-treating will not be affected.
