$140 credit offered to CL&P customers

Berlin, Conn. (WTNH) - Hundreds of thousands left in the dark for days following the October snowstorm and now some people won't be getting a refund.

It's hard to believe in this mild February weather that we had a major snowstorm back in late October.

A lot of folks were without power for up to ten days.

As a courtesy CL&P is offering a refund, but only to eligible customers.

Only 192,000 customers will get a $140 credit on their next bill.
