(WTNH) - A day that brought snow, wind, rain and rainbows over Connecticut is now causing street flooding along the shoreline.
The National Weather Service issued coastal flood warnings for moderate coastal flooding around 1p.m., high tide.
The water levels were between 3 and 3.5 feet above high tide, but those levels are now falling.
The coastal flooding was due to the combination of high tide, a near full moon, and almost an inch of rainfall earlier in the day.
News 8's Anne Craig reports water is over the road in the Indian Neck area of Branford.
