MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- 3 people are recovering after a family of 4 was hit by a car in Milford on Monday morning.
Police say shortly after 11:00 a.m. the family was walking on Bridgeport Avenue near Cowles Street because the sidewalks in the area were not clear of snow.
They were hit by a car that was driving in the same direction.
"There's an increased number of plows on the road and there are no place to safely walk. Best thing you can do to keep safe is to stay out of the way of traffic," said Dr. Donal Conway, Bridgeport Hospital.
Officials have not released the names or ages of the victims but News 8 does know that 2 people are in critical condition, 1 person suffered minor injuries and the other was not hurt.
