Manchester, Conn (WTNH) - The snow Wednesday night will make for some tricky roads Thursday morning, and a lot of people in Connecticut have had it with winter.
"No, I am done, I am done," Bob Ursa from Manchester said.
"I am fed up with the snow to be honest with you. I am ready for the golf season," John Murphy from Manchester said.
Snow swirls in the lights remind us that old man winter is sometimes stubborn about letting go, even though many people have already have put winter behind them.
"More snow. More snow. I have to put the plow back on," said Murphy.
"I am trying to get my pool prepped for spring, and now I will be pumping more snow off of it," Steve Pines from Manchester said.
The roads were hit and miss. Most places it wasn't sticking yet, but it was different town by town.
"I just came from Storrs, and it was snowing there pretty hard," Tammy Grillo from Manchester said.
"I see a lot of careless driving people driving too fast when they shouldn't be, and I have no problems in this, because I take my time, that way I can be safe and sound," said Murphy.
Playing it safe, and pretending it's not going to happen are two different things.
"I'm not convinced it's on its way yet. We will see when we wake up in the morning and look out the windows. I want the kids to go to school," said Grillo.
In the end ,it is New England in the spring.
"It can go into April. You hate to say it, but it could go into April. Keeping my fingers crossed, and I am looking for the sun," said Ursa.
