PIKES PEAK, Colo. (CNN) - The two people in this car survived, but after seeing the crash, you might wonder how.

The driver lost control during the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado. It's a 12-mile race to the summit of Pikes Peak near Colorado Springs.

If you listen closely, you can hear somebody in the background say the crash is "way worse than last year."
That's right.

The driver went off the road in the same spot another car did during last year's race. He told CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight that this wreck was different than others he's been in, because each impact as the car was rolling felt like another car crash.

When Piers Morgan asked the driver and his passenger if they would race again after this, they said only time will tell.
