Kawasaki USA recalls utility vehicles due to fire hazard

WASHINGTON (CPSC) - The following product safety recall was voluntarily conducted by the firm in cooperation with the CPSC. Consumers should stop using the product immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

Name of Product: Utility Vehicles

Units: About 3,900

Distributor: Kawasaki Motors Corp. USA, of Irvine, Calif.

Hazard: The fuel tube can scrape against the air cleaner housing and develop holes, posing a fire hazard.

Incidents/Injuries: Kawasaki has not received any reports of incidents or injuries.
