BILBOA, Spaine (CNN/ATLAS) - High winds in Bilbao, Spain, made normally routine landings treacherous for airplanes Wednesday.

Some airplanes were able to land, making for a bumpy ride for passengers.

But at least four other flights had to be diverted from the airport.

Several Spanish coastal towns were hit with windy weather, but there was minimal damage.
