HOUSTON (CNN) - One of the busiest travel weeks of the year is getting under way.

Long security lines greeted passengers at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston Monday morning.

Crowds are only expected to get bigger.

Industry trade group Airlines for America predicted as many as 24 million people would be traveling by plane between Friday, Nov. 16 and Tuesday, Nov. 27.
