(CNN) - The United States has some of the saltiest fast foods in the world. That's according to a CBC News report on a new study in the Canadian Medical Association Journal.
The study compared the salt levels of six different fast food chains in six countries.
The U.S. was among the nations selling some of the saltiest foods.
McDonald's McNuggets in the U.S. had nearly three times the salt of those sold in the United Kingdom.
Canada had the saltiest salads and New Zealand had the saltiest Big Macs.
