Quassy Amusement Park is 103 years old this season. In same family now since 1937 and the only family-owned amusement park left in the region. Park has made many improvements in recent years with additon of waterpark, new family rides, entertainment. Still cateres to families with pre-teens and very affordable.

The Kent Family Magic Circus will be appearing from August 2nd-15th at Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury, with daily shows starting at 1pm.

Quassy , founded as an amusement park in 1908, sits on the south shore of Lake Quassapaug in Middlebury, Connecticut. On its 20 plus acres, it boasts of 22 rides including the "Yo-Yo" Super Swing, "The Big Flush Water Coaster," a four-abreast "Grand Carousel," other thrill rides as well as attractions for the very young.

Quassy Beach provides swimming in a clean, spring-fed lake and is home to "Saturation Station," the sensational interactive family water play area. The "Tunnel Twister" waterslides are the newest addition to the waterpark.
Nine months out the year Jacob and Karen Kalama, along with their daughter, Krystina, travel across the United States performing as the Kenya Safari Acrobats - a company Jacob established more than a decade ago with its base of operations situated in this North Carolina community.


Though thousands of miles from their African homeland, the Kalamas incorporate much of their native culture into their high-energy shows. The fast-paced Kenya Safari Acrobats - a troupe generally consisting of six to eight highly-trained athletes - take the stage for 45-minutes of jaw-dropping acts and antics.


The stage acts include fire ring jumping, a human pyramid, magic, feats of strength and Krystina Kalama as a contortionist.


Kenya Safari Acrobats will be at Quassy Amusement Park August 17-30.

 

The Kent Family is a real family made up of seven very talented individuals (all real family members) performing an exciting illusion-based variety show with juggling, fire-eating, bull whip tricks, fire-whip, escapes, unicyling, side-show stunts, bunnies, doves, and a trained chicken, the world's youngest mind-reader, with more and more added all the time.

Catch the daredevil acrobatics of Cirque Equinox at Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury from July 20th thru August 2nd.
